Description
I was up at 4 am and tried to take shots of the Lunar Eclipse, but I had to take them from the window in the patio. It was too cold to go outside. Almost frosty and in the patio, I had the big "bad hair tree" between the moon and me. With alot of attempts, I maneged to get these photos, without breaking my back :)
The quality is not something to write home about, yet you can get a feeling of what I saw. The shots were taken in an angle of about 60 degrees, through 3 layers of glass, so bear with me. :)
I am much better today, so I have tried to catch up with you, but there is a long way to go yet, so I will have to continue commenting tomorrow. My neck and shoulders are not the best right now.
Have a beautiful day/evening. We have had another wonderful weather day.
Thank you for viewing and commenting :-)

Wowsie what a great series of photo's from this spectacle, my friend. And I'm so glad you did so much effort, ánd didn't break anything. I really hope it wasn't too cold for your bones, as I hope, nothing does bother you physically, huh! You can be over the moon with all your cool photo's from the eclipse, Helle-friend!
gosh, I was the only one have not seen this!! great you did this series Helle! wonderful captured!
Thanks, my only look at it
If no clouds, I would have been trying to get a series like this too. But solid clouds gave me an excuse to stay in bed. Thanks for going out of your way and almost standing on your head for us:-) Interesting sequence!
Wow! Well done! I didn't even try!
4 super shots Helle, all mine were blurry.
Gorgeous work, Helle; bravo on your heroic efforts to get these shots! I was just plain lazy ;(
Beautiful series of shots, Helle. I didn't even try. Can't imagine it being too cold to get out, still very warm here.
wonderful sequence
Oh-em-gee, despite your recent illness, Helle, you got up in the very early morning in order to capture this rare event of the Blood Moon. You get an E for effort on that. Hard to imagine it being too cold, what with my temps running around 74F/23C at that time. I forgot all about this event myself. In any case, a nice montage of sequential moon eclipse shots in this one.
Nice sequence.
Fantastic shots !!!
Stunning captures Helle. God bless.
We sat out in our lawn chairs looking in the general direction of the moon, but only saw it for a few minutes as it was rising, just as the shadow started to cross. Unfortunately, as Bill says, there was heavy cloud cover that night, so we only saw it as it went between two big layers! We're still in Wyoming, waiting for a part to arrive so we can get back on the road, so we're not in Nebraska yet. Just wanted you to know we haven't seen your cousin wandering around. :P LOL!
