Description
Yesterday we visited The Garden of A Thousand Buddhas in The Jocko Valley near Missoula, Montana.
As we approached the entrance to the garden, this photo (and title) seemed apropos:)
Zoom really improves the detail.
According to a Buddhist wiki, "Goddess Tara, a female Buddha and meditational deity, is arguably the most popular goddess in the Buddhist pantheon. She is considered to be the goddess of universal compassion who represents virtuous and enlightened activity."

And I'm sure both were equally pleased to meet! What a cool shot of the two goddesses ;)
It seems like a picture from tibet, well done!
I bet Tara felt uplifted by this meeting Bill.
Stunning capture Bill. God bless.
Wow! a most amazing shot this is. Two Taras, great mountains, wonderful valleys. What more can one wish for :-) A MUST see in FULL size.
I wonder if jocko500 knows there is a valley with his namesake. great capture
That is so lovely!! xx
great capture
Very nice image and apropos title Bill as the qualities seem to be the same for both Taras.
I agree with Maria! How marvellous to get this photo of the meeting!
I see I should have commented earlier! Following Maria and Andrea is a bit intimidating. I shall attempt to become more like the Green Tara as I go along. :P Love the shot, hon!
What an amazing place to visit....
Fabulous capture and interesting information
Oh man, you missed a perfect opportunity to make points with the wife by adding "Just like my wife" to the end of your description. A beautiful image that could very easily be in Nepal or Bhutan. Who knew the Buddhists were into green energy?
