Description
Well, that's what the weather person calls them.
Captured 8/26/15 @ 7:39 am, within the casual confines of my condominium complex.
Another shot taken with the intent of creating images of a Gothic nature. I like the contrasts here. More of these in my capacious files. Always reminds me of Wuthering Heights.
The clouds come in overnight, mainly during the months of May and June - tho most unusual for late August - then burn off, giving us bright sunny skies and unbearable heat.

We get that here too, but they call it "the marine layer". Ours doesn't always burn off, though. I remember that morning overcast in summers as a teen, waiting impatiently for it to blow away so we could get to the serious business of working on our suntans...ah, the good old days! It's amazing that I haven't shown any signs of skin cancer yet. Excellent and most dramatic capture of this meteorological phenomenon, Harry!

Harry, I am glad you actually had the opportunity to photograph clouds for once in your area. As I can understand, you have have had way too much blue sky, the past two years. Beautiful shot of them :)
