I'm surprised that with all of our heat, we get any moisture of any kind, day or night.
As for the avatars, did you ever look at anything through the wrong end of a telescope? That's what they remind me of. Fie on this idea. In fact, fie on this whole Renderosity fiasco.

I'm also surprised that with all the drought conditions you're still getting dew on cars (and probably the grass and bushes too, I would imagine?) I would have expected that there was no water to spare for the atmosphere. Wonder if it's from all the mouth breathers out there? Still, it makes for a lovely patina on the windows and paint job of this auto. Well seen and an excellent shot!
Great Looking Capture!!!
Love how the Sun is Slowly taking the much need Moisture!!!
Must be a long missed sight over there, Harry. Hope you will have more cool and humid weather from now on. Excellent shot :)
surprising iridescent light on this car back, exposed to dim light !!! Beautiful velvety on the bodywork !!!
another of your gem 'texture' shots, somewhat minimal but full as well. I, too, am surprised by the moisture, given how bone dry it's been in SCal. But it sure makes a beautiful shot! The moisture here is so compact---the droplets are so close together. They make a dense kind of "gravel" on the car. And the light is wonderful---esp as it beams off the back window and splashes along the back of the car. By contrast, you have deep black on the car; and the rest of the city seems almost in deep shade, even though you have very intense light. I don't know how you get that, but you have shots in your gallery that are clearly daytime, yet they have shadow that makes them seem almost of the night. This is one of those shots---it has intense shadow with intense light. Also, the lines of the car-back leading into the sidewalk and fence shadow are wonderful. And you cut it off at a low horizon, crunching us right into the center of things---not allowing us to drift off, but to stay focused on that car. Love this shot. Very intense work all around.
(And btw, I'm very sorry you've had such scorching temps: It makes a prisoner of you---people can't leave because it's downright dangerous outside. I hope you're holding up with it, and hope it cools down very soon.)
