Description
The rock formations on the beach at Yachats were ideal for climbing & scrambling. My grandson was able to zero in on ways to challenge his skills (like most boys his age, he seems to be part mountain goat), while my wife & I were able to follow along, taking somewhat more cautious routes in some cases. And, of course, they were interspersed with tidepools full of interesting lifeforms to study...
