Description
A large rock at Yachats, encrusted with mussels, starfish & thousands of other creatures of the sea. Close enough to shore that we could play that age-old game of getting as close to it as we could as the ocean recedes & quickly running back to avoid getting our shoes & pants drenched as the next wave comes in...

You know, you can post up to 4000 x 4000 images and the 512kb restriction is gone. I'd love to see this in its larger format ... I bet it's even better up close!
I am taking advantage of being able to post beyond the 512kb limit, which enables me to post more complex images without jaggies. But I still don't like having to scroll through 4000x4000 images & also, at that size, to eliminate fuzziness I think would require a download delay that some would find annoying...
How I should love to be there !
A beautiful seascape. We must get down to the beach here the next time through. Think we were here on a rainy, cold day and said, let's go home (to our campsite)...rather than hike down to the beach.
