Description
Caleya said, "NarieFah, how can I convince you to leave this place? I can protect the egg, but soon these walls will be flaming and I won't be able to protect you. I feel there is no longer any hope in the promised help. Child, please don't break my heart, go now and save yourself, there is no need that we both remain in this circle of death."
NarieFah replied, "But Caleya, I haven't lost hope in the words of the Great Eagle friend. Don't ask me why but I still want to believe that the promised help will arrive and somehow they will find a way to get through the wall of flames. Maybe it will only be in time to save the egg, but I now realize that I am the egg's courier and just like in the old stories the couriers didn't return. I think they stayed to protect the eggs and maybe they were even the first Dragon Archers. No Caleya, like you I will stay to protect the egg because we are stronger together. You do not have to face these dragons by yourself anymore. We will stand here, alone together, and delay these fireworms as long as possible."
Caleya was very moved by these words and she said "Narie of the house of Fah, you are brave and wise beyond your years. Your trust in the Great Eagle has renewed my hope and like you I now believe that we must stay together to protect the egg."
Then she unslung her crossbow and held it out. "This crossbow was given to me by my father when I first became a Dragon Archer. Its spirit name is 'Protector' and it has protected me from danger many times. Carry it now and may it also be a protector for you."
NarieFah took the crossbow and she immediately felt it's spirit force. The feeling was very reassuring and she smiled at Caleya. Then with their backs against the tower walls, they stood alone together and watched as the circle of fire closed around them.

I added this scene to support the storyline, I hope it is not too repetitive and I'll try to come up with some fresh ideas for the final chapters. And in the mountains, the inspiration maybe :) Then their fate is together, and we can hope an happy end is Great Eagle is right. But for the moment the egg stay in mysterious place, and both ladies need to all their head against bad dragons. I like the expression of NarieFah when Caleya gives her the crossbow - an excellent choice against ennemies. And excellent choice for your story (i have a part of this pack, but by another place, FRM ^^ ) Have a good day!

Your creation is certainly a spectacular image but more important is the bond that these two heroes have made to fight the dragons, save the egg and become the protectors that they were meant to be. A fantastic posting!
