Description
Right around the corner from the Golden Gate Bridge is the Legion of Honor, The Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco. In the courtyard is one of the 28 full size castings of Auguste Rodins The Thinker, bronze on marble, 73 inches (186cm) tall on a block of marble. I think that I have posted a photo of The Thinker before but my wife Jo is in this photo for perspective. Old photo scanned yesterday.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

first time to see Jo I believe. a beautiful lady and statue
Wonderful capture Hello Jo!
Hey, my wife's name is Jo, too! LOL A really cool shot of her and the statue, Dana. Great way to show the scale of this famous sculpture. I'm in the middle of a project to scan all my negatives and slides to preserve them. I've finished all the slides (including a bunch of old 4X5 transparencies), and am about halfway through the negatives.
Nice, and Jo looks great! Well done!
You have a beautiful-looking wife. It is great to see her in the photo both to see what a lucky man you are and to see the scale of the Thinker.
Beautiful thinking to take this shot !
Jo looks fantastic! I love that white bumbag, must look, out for one. I had no idea how many casts of this there are till now, most interesting .
What a pleasure it is to meet Jo and this is a super shot Dana.

So Lovely to see your Wife, very nice
And there's a copy in Philadelphia, and of course Paris. These are the 3 I've seen. There was a poster on the corridor wall of my Junior High School which read "The most difficult job is thinking". Not so encouraging to young teens. Keep up the good work! :-)
very beautiful
cool shot od your dear wife, Jo. great capture of her with the thinker. i do alot myself.. tell Jo hey for us here at rendo.. :), and she looks super..
Beautiful shot and Hello JO :)
Nice picture Dana. Jo looks nice, so does' The Thinker'. I have seen one of the 'Thinker' statues in Buenos Aires. To your comment about my latest upload. The whole Smithonian is crowed, more so than the The US Air Force Museum. BTW, I will be going on a little 2-week drive starting tomorrow morning. To Banff and Jasper Parks, Canad and coming back down along the West Coast.
Safe trip my friend and take as many photos as your camera can handle. The Valley of the Ten Peaks, near Lake Louise, is a must so is the short climb to see Payto Lake.
Splendid pic of Jo!
Great shot Dana, that's one big bronze statue and It's nice to meet your wife even If its only in a picture.

I know this guy but your lovely wife is new to me. The old joke is that he is trying to remember where he put his clothes. Great shot.
