Nice!!
cool result. :)
What fun! This is a terrific result. It stands alone as an abstract, but I'd certainly tag this one for a blend background. It's got such presence! Nice work!
It does look as though we're seeing them through glass blocks; nice illusion!
fabulous creation !!1
looks like a fractal
very cool
Did you know that "urchin" is etymologically related to "hedgehog"? I have no idea how or why, but I thought I'd throw it in since you're transforming the poor beasts into a 1980's abstract. I love what you did with this. Glass blocks of some kind, and they're perfect because the shot it's based on is cellular too. I loved the feel of the previous shot, and here you just took it to an abstract extreme. You also gave grain and intensity to the lines (maybe purposeful oversharpening, or some kind of edge intensification), making it like electrical currents jumping on a metal plate. I'm all for you doing ultra-postwork on your series...it takes it all to another dimension, while never leaving the world it came from. Terrifrric, Claude. (Did I just write "terrifrric"? In this case, I didn't edit it because I like the word. Somehow it fits this image...)
