Description
Inspired by a photo I saw on Facebook. A good chance to fiddle with texture and lighting effects, learning Iray :)
Happy with: The translucency on the rose (the big size is intentional). The gemstones refraction/dispesion effects.
Not so happy with: The skin texture (too smooth, but that's how this particular texture set is. Easily improved with a new render, not to be done :) ).
DAZ Studio, Iray, G2f. A few touch-ups in Photoshop.

Definitely and by far your best portrait I think. I would have liked to see a bit more pressure displayed in the flower, considering the curling grip of the fingers. The angle of the head and the elevation of the shoulder make the emotion in the scene. Excellent work. Other posters of Poser corpses take note!
Thanks, Huw - I agree completely about the rose needing to look more squeezed, but this would require actual modeling / morphing which is not so easily done inside DAZ Studio. Could be done in Poser with the morphing brush (or a "real" modeling package), but I wanted to work in DAZ Studio because of the new and very good NVDIA Iray render engine.
