Beautiful flower, beautiful photo !!
Yes it is beautiful Helle and a great shot too.
Lovely photo. i am glad you get good weather today. We have clouds and rain today in The Netherlands. But, that is good for watering the garden. :)
superb
I love these, I grew a lot from seed this year, very easy!
Ahh! ok so I will save some for next year. I did wonder if that was possible :-) Thanks for the info :)
Helle, you did a brilliant job on this very colorful capture.
Fascinating that the petals fold and unfold! Beautiful flower and superb details in zoom, Helle! Well done!
Very nice capture Helle.
cool
Amazing capture Helle. God bless.
Wonderful shot of this beautiful flower; I did not know that about only opening in full sun!
beautiful, love the colors and lighting excellent work
Outstanding clarity, color, contrast and lighting in this fabulous macro of the esoteric bloom, Helle.
Beautiful! You should do well with the seeds. :)
your shot is a burst in our faces, and your crop brings us into the crop even more (because, by cutting off the top and bottom petals, you push the viewer right into the center of the shot). It pops right out at us. A beautiful shot, with vivid yellows and red-oranges, and a very sharp bright center. And fine definition on some of the background (with the further parts, of course, in varying degrees of softness). A wonderful closeup of the sunburst of flowers. Very exciting capture, Helle. (And btw, when I first saw "Gazenia," I thought it was a made up name, lol. LIke someone made it up to sound like they "knew" something about flowers. Ie, "what flower is this??? Uh....I....it's a GAZENIA! Yeah that's it!") Ok, I looked it up; and on the web it's spelled with an "a" (gazania). To which I say, I've STILL never heard of it! Accdg to wikipedia, it's in the family Asteraceae. (Well, that clears THAT up.) I've never heard of this flower! You got a great shot of one, though.
