What a fascinating twisty old trunk! A real beauty, and a spectacular shot, Harry!
good find
AMazing my friend... very great shot also !
Love the you have captured this tree.
Another wonderful old tree capture. Your detail pervades the whole shot, it quietly bristles. And the big open knot---is that what they call a big flat opening in the bark, like that?---that big open knot is composed in just the right spot, to let it dominate the shot. It's like a gigantic eye checking us out, or a big mouth (with some serious dental problems). Wonderful shot of this gaping opening. And fine sharp work on all the detail around it---ie, the knots, the gnarls, the roots, the grass and clover. Terrific addition to this series.
