That's a pretty one; I have ridden in a lot of these in my teenaged years, as it seemed to be a popular vehicle with the high school crowd, This one seems to be much better maintained than the ones I was familiar with. Excellent shots!
Wow Harry, that is one sweet ride for sure.
FABULOUS my friend... Fantastic old car and your pictures are really beautiful !
Very nice indeed! What a very sweet ride. Love the colours, just ride for cruising on a hot summers day. Good one! Rob
Ok, I'm going back to the two I skipped...this one's a change from the older cars you've shown us, and it's a beauty. You got the streamline in shot one, and the high key yellow, and the sheen, and the way it sweeps across this otherwise segmented space. (These cars deserve so much better settings: I realize that's a lot easier said than done, but they really have to vie with the stuff around them, which is a shame. But I guess that's something car lovers have to contend with in many car shows.) I love that it's sandwiched between those old beasts---it really shows the difference in styles. Your second shot shows us the banners and a lot more visual activity; and the car seems a resting place amidst all that stuff. Again, you caught the lines and the sweep and the highlights in the shot; plus we get to see some of those rust-beige seats, with their boxing-glove bulges (for head rests). And the bottom shot shows us the back, and there it is next to that old high-back green car, such a terrific contrast. (We can see some of those antique cars in the background too---maybe they are the ones in your gallery.) This is a very classic set of shots, and you've faded the background gently , so it doesn't interfere...but so it also doesn't turn to mush. Fine work on these, Harry. I drove cars like these, years ago, and your shots bring back memories of how sleek and classic they were...
