The shadows are like slippers, they are.
Captured 1/05/15 @ 9:12 am, looking across the ersatz studio setup atop my bed on the top floor of my condo.
It's been quite a while, so I felt it's about time to show another one of the hundreds of pics I've taken of this particular subject matter.

Great concept. And yes, they do seem to represent slippers. It is quite interesting that while the frames appear the same, the shadows cast noticeably look different.

When this went up, I went "Yessss!" Partly because you haven't posted these gems in a while, and partly because it's such a compelling shot. Here, you have your glasses at the head of 4 slippers (yes! I agree) or just 4 big gaping ghost-faces with huuuuge eyes. And they're projected on a singular surface filled with tiny textures (I assume this is paper of some kind? I love the surface, in this light) and subtle shadows throughout. Love everything about it. Even the long shadows of the ear pieces, before they move into those "slippers". The light is intense and warm gray. And the piece is framed with equal parts of space above and below. Masterful---and this was right after your 3700th upload, a fitting way to start a new "100". Another terrific shadow piece from you.
