just heard that he have loss to cancer.
his last image he posted shows a stairway going up. hope he took it up. Only ones person knows for now.
I wish i was on the site more so I could saw his last image and maybe write him a note before he left this world.
this is my lastest unfinished work. It is finish now but i did not take a photo of the finish one yet. Anyway this shows LBJ2 as his life was cut short and not finished as far as we can see with the natural eyes and knowledge we have of him.
I will post post the finish painting soon. but it is bright as he did brighten many people lives up. Yes the background is in high key to show the other worldly look

anything you paint is a gift, Jocko, and this is so special because it's one of your works-in-progress, where we see your huge energies and rushing strokes, and your wonderful sense of light. I don't know what this was going to be, but as it is, it's a surging rushing explosion of light and energies; and it's perfect for Lars. (And the "white-out" background is perfect too...) I didn't notify everyone who knew Lars because I only looked at the 3 or 4 of his most recent images, and I didn't see you there (as you've been so busy). But I also didn't notify anyone who gets my gallery-ebots, because they'd find out anyway. So please know that's the only reason you and some others didn't get my letter on Lars...But I saw your last comments to Lars, and they were very touching. A beautiful dedi for a dear soul---thank you, Jock. (And I've long owed you comments, and will give you some soon...)
