Very nice work on this detailed capture, Harry.

Beautiful , the sun does magic things.

Great sunlight playing on the leaves!

Beautiful gradation of light from the top of the shot to the bottom, highlighting the lines in those wonderful leaves. Excellent work, Harry!

Fantastic lights and colors... Outstanding capture my friend !!!!

I like the sunlight through the leaves...excellent !!!

Very nice variations of light, color, and texture here, Harry.

I swore I'd commented on this, but I see I didn't. You get lots of variations in these canna leaf shots, and this one is a blast of light next to deep shadow. The bottom is in deep shadow, and the older decayed leaves look like a furled flag, in this light---it's sensuous and fabric-like, to my eye. A real find. And out of this congestion comes a blast of light which shoots right through the leaves and turns them into nearly whited-out flames. Very striking, esp against the dark background (which, btw, is at a perspective that makes it look as much like a wall as like ground. Fine perspective work). The shafts of backlit leaves are like lamps or beacons, here. And you've got some very intense highlights below too---like neon lighting in the bottom half. Another scintillating leaf shot from you, and you cropped it to put us right into the middle of it, so we can feel the burst closeup. More fine leaf work from you.

They certainly make for a great shot with those cool stripes. Lovely photo. Rob
