What a lovely bench design! Looks quite comfortable, too, did you rest in it on your ramblings? Wonderful shot, my friend!
Very great shot my friend !
I know I'm skipping again, but after doing 3 in a row, I begin to feel guilty for all I missed, so I go back. I had my eye on this for a while anyway. Zoomed, this blooms. It's a plain bench, with a rather dull brownish hue, but it's so fascinating! The plaque, the heavy slats, the design in the back slats, the thick arms like Shaker furniture, etc. And so stark against that 'burnt' ground with twigs and gray sidewalk in front. And real near-noon light too, very different from your signature early morning light. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the sun bleaches things in a whole other way. You got that feeling here. A bold sun bleached shot, getting the real ornery essence of this big clunk of a bench. Fine work, Harry.
