Really outstanding colours this flower has, you've caught them beautifully mate. Rob
You know, when I go backwards in your gallery, I can't figure out why I commented on some images and not others. I see them all as they go up, mind you---rarely do I see them even half a day late. But why did I comment "around this," only coming back to it now? I have no idea, because it hit me in the face as soon as it went up...In any case, it's a beauty---it looks ready to take off, and that's in your capture. The hues are all present/vivid. The red is almost neon. The sharpness of the petals are like antennae with blue umbrellas. And your pov makes it a horizontal "cut" across a vertical background, where you've lined the petal tops with the top of that wooden fence? wall? enclosure. A beauty, and wonderful work capturing the real essence of this bizarre and wholly vivid specie...and very well composed.
