Description
Just trying to get a better sense of how IDR lighting works in a real 3d environment. I would say this was just a quicky, but it was anything but in terms of render time, 10s of hours - must be close up of intricate hair and very high render quality settings. I do like the glossy way it worked around her mouth and eyes.
Alondra from RDNA again but not with Jenny's tattoos, they simply did not fall out on the rights spots.

I love her expression. There's a sense that she's found what she has been looking for and now she's going to take it. Apt for Valentine's Day wouldn't you think?
Nice work and light.
This is a nice quickie. I have yet to play with the lighting in Daz Studio like you. I guess I need to buckle down cuz this looks great. Looks like you are really making headway.
An excellent piece Roxy very cool!!!
A very fun portrait!!! Nice colors and I like the look of the hair and its pose - and the bat is cool!!!
Superb render, Roxy-san!
Beautiful portrait with a beautiful expression and pose !!!!!!! The use of light and its color give something of fascinating to this image
It certainly turned out great. Beautiful character and render.
Great job in bringing this ultra cool character to life, Roxy.
some massively cool steampunk dear, Roxy. killer lighting and expression. love your talents and help you have mentioned about my last image i indicated some things about that in my recent.
great render
Her expression gives me two thoughts - She is very happy about something or she is going slowly mad (insane) over something excellent work
Always enjoy the wind, well maybe not a hurricane... ;) Ten to twelve hour render times on a good pc or Mac seem to be normal for Reality 4, depending on what you want in the final image. Not for all the instant gratification generation, but excellent results if you have patience, something the world seems to be in short supply of these days... ;) A Happy Valentines to you B-Girl!
Awesome work
Excellent work!
Nice. That's a different kind of Bat Girl! Lover her expression/demeanor. Nice render, but 10 hours does seem excessive for a Firefly render. This looks more Firefly than Reality, right? IDL can take a long time and details of a mesh with or without SSS can seem to really affect render time. As an example I used Snarly Gribble's EZ-Skin to add SSS to a character. I set the SSS quality to 90% and this made the render take hours. I redid it at 80% and the render took only an hour and a half and the SSS did not really suffer for the 10% less in quality. If you are adding SSS with a Poser node than the slider that blends the node with original texture map can affect things too. I don't know if that's what's going on here. The hair looks pretty detailed and that could affect the render time as well.
This is really excellent, Roxy! The IDL really looks good, and there's a ton of detail here - super render! I don't think I've ever had a Poser render take 10 hours (Vue, yes, Poser no) - like Art, I'm not really sure what's taking it so long other than the detailed hair. Even at that. it's well worth the time involved! You're really making Alondra look super hot!
