wonderful colors and overall-image
Very beautiful view
This looks like Heceta Head Lighthouse from near the Sea Lion Caves by Florence. Beautiful image.
Yes, Katherine, I believe you're right.
Fabulous POV!
Fabulous!
Beautiful vista!!!
I really love the Oregon Coast
So beautiful, the light is luminous!
What a beautiful place to hike and photograph. Good shot.
A monumental shot. Perhaps more 'obvious' an angle than many of your closer shots, because of its overarching view of a coastline and jutting landmasses, but sometimes dramatic overviews are demanded by the sight, and I can't think of a more fitting capture of this glorious sight. Your shadow and light are marvelous, the mist in the background speaks of the old film days (digital photography has made sharpness an obsession---and I mean literal sharpness, not bringing out light and texture from within the image), the layers of whites over yellows over greens---in the water---is like a dream, and your pov, with those heavy mold-laden rocks in the foreground leading out of frame and then coming back into the beautiful jutting land, and then to another jutting landmass, are all beautiful. Monumental work, Claude. With a gallery filled with closeups and great facade work, etc, a shot like this reminds us of how wonderfully you handle long distance work as well. A soft but breathtaking landscape shot.
An excellent POV and capture of the beautiful coast line!
