Very lovely flower
Boy, I know the feeling. Primroses always seem cheerful, blooming so early. They make me feel like winter will end ... some day ... !! We have roses blooming all winter down here, but it's a little surrealistic for me because I know what winter is SUPPOSED to be like! LOL! Wet, rain, drizzle, rain, cloudy, gray, rain, and rain. :P
Superb! I love these.
Nice shot of a variety of primrose I've never seen before, and congratulations on getting rain, a phenomenon rarely seen around my neck of the woods.
A nice shot of those colorful little buddies.
Muddy? - it looks well mulched. Nice photo!!!
Awesome capture of the primrose right after a rain storm...:)))
Excellent capture - very intense!
My primroses have been keeping my snails fed, unfortunately; I have a few still, well chewed about the edges. Yours are bright and lovely like a beacon in the grey!
Well primrose means 'prime rose', because it blooms so early (I learned that in my plant-drawing classes), so it's understandable that they show up early. A water drenched soiled shot, flowers after a messy shower, and the bursts of yellow and yellow green are fine contrasts to those saturated reds. With a dark background to set them off. Intense, with the flowers looking haggard but happy. I love how you captured the specks of dirt all across them and the leaves. Love all that dirt in the shot.
A delightful combination of colors!
