Superb composition, and I love the rich golds and browns, so many different shades! Beautifully seen and captured!
a red-yellow deluge, and the flat 'wall' of leaves behind the log suggest an actual wall, like the wall of a cave where the log is the floor, and the fungi are inhabitants. WOnderful composition. It actually looks like a performance, a dance performance in fact, by the fungi. If you've ever been in theater (I was, as a musician), you know that these lights have the intense cloistered feel of a theater in performance. Can't help but think of that when I see this intense light and that wall of leaves behind. Very 'presentational' capture, intense and electrified.
