Description
Well it seemed like a good idea at the time. Sammy stands in front of his father and sister with the baby elephant he used as an art canvas. It started with the find of several partially empty paint containers. They were just laying there. He didn't think anyone wanted them any more. (Sorry Wolf, I couldn't resist.) The closest flat surface was the elephant's side and he was lost to the inner Muse. While his father inwardly applauds his creativity, the use of materials he did not own on a family pet can not be condoned. His sister Jade does not like the paint work at all. She would have done flowers.
I know - ballet and elephants. I'm in a rut. If I start putting tutu's on elephants, you can revoke my posting privileges.

Tutu's on Hippo's have been done before. Not sure about elephants though GT. I'm also not sure which would be the most graceful on stage. I'm equally unsure why I am making these comments! :()
A delightful story and the image speaks for it self. Well done. Children can come up with the most crazy ideas.

I, for another, would love a front row seat to an elephant ballet!
Hey, Disney's "Fantasia" had hippopotamuses in tutus, so why not elephants? LOL This is quite a colorful pachyderm, indeed! Although I think Sammy is going to wind up at the elephant wash pretty soon with a big job ahead of him! Wonderful and fun artwork, Terri!
lOVELY WORK tERRI!!
Oh, that would be grand, a tutu on an elephant! Now you have to do it! Cute scene and story!
But you would also have to make a elephant ballet pose! ;-)
Hey, Walt Disney put tutus on hippos and pink elephants (Fantasia - Dance of the Hours) - so why not? Not sure how good that paint is for the little elephant but he is quite colorful!
