Description
Another sunny waves photo from the beach this month,
That is the Isle of Wight in the background. Have a peep fullsize.
I have just joined an interesting 'treasure hunt' group of 100 song titles. and this was perfect for 'Waves' by a group long after my time called Blancmange. I looked at the lyric and had a moments listen, incredibly depressing!

Another beautiful sparkling ocean shot. :) Thanks for sharing.
Excellent shot Andrea, interestingly, back in the 80's, my two nieces thought that I was the singer of Blancmange, we did bare a striking resemblance, and they use to say "Look it's uncle Ron" I used to wind them up that it was true and start singing You keep me running roundabout Well that's all-right with me Up and down I'm up a wall I'm up a cuckoo tree
Zoom is a must to get a clear view of the buoy and catch the wonderful details the sun has picked up in the splash. Fantastic shot of all the blue tones, they are gorgeous !
Fantastic shot!
Wonderful pic Andrea
A band with which I am not familiar and also some sort of custard. A wonderful seascape made better with the island in the background. It looks like something has taken a great chunk out of it.
A fantastic shot and the real beauty in in the zoom.
Lovely photo, love those waves.
You could have had "Moving Waves" by Focus :) Fantastic shot Andrea :)
Beautiful capture!
Very striking capture Andrea - I think I would have tried the Beach Boys 'Catch a Wave'
wonderful
Great capture Andrea, Blancmange are a duo of Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe, prominent in the early 80's and have been around for ages although they were inactive for many years, think they made a new album back in 2011. Their music is in the synth/pop style with some pieces embracing middle eastern influences on tracks such as "Living on the Ceiling", they make good music with infectious hooks. If you go on Spotify look out for my Bodymelt Collections series as one features many tracks from them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQ8qPOk0Zvc
A striking view, especially in the letterbox crop!
I used to like that band in the 80s. I like this view a lot more than I ever liked the band, though! Lovely!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
A wonderful panoramic capture, breaking wave, lots of see foam and the Isle of Wight in the background. Nice depth!
