Description
Golden Eagle
Great Spirit of courage and illumination
Creature of divine vision
Showing me how to connect with my intuition
To embrace the winds of change
Teaching me to see new opportunities
To fly higher
With the creative force of the Universe
Through the clouds of self doubt
Taking me far beyond what I can see
Helping me soar above the mundane
Above my limitations
Into a world of
Self discovery
Spiritual truths
Limitless imagination
Fearless determination
And ultimate freedom.

Credits: From my Spirit Of The Wild - Birds Of Prey collection, featuring the magnificent Golden Eagle, spirit messenger of courage, showing us how to fly through shadows and light, to follow our hearts and dreams into the New Year with all the freedom of the skies. Created in Photoshop, using eagle reference photo and painting techniques. Special thanks to Danny O'Byrne for the use of his wonderful photo.
Wishing my fellow R'osity friends and artists
the spirit of the eagle as we fly into the New Year.

Stunning thoughts and concept, to follow along the life. Not easy, however, and a challenging !! but having your words in mind as a target to reach out, is already like us feel on the road... Magnificent Eagle that is entering in my screen with eyes of a winner! Beautifully done ! and thank you very much for your wishes Carol:) You did a terrific work .
What can I say but "Stunning"!
A beautiful portrait of this fearsome and majestic bird, and filled with your energies, gushing light and dark, hovering shadows, powers, and sense of the transcendent. The eagle is rendered in waterfalls as much as feathers; they're feathers, but they flow down his body like tufts of raging waters. Passionate interpretation. The bright yellow of the beak---along with touches of white---make it seem almost on fire. And the under-portion of his left wing (our right) is like a big cavern opened to the world and revealing lava-like energies and pulses. Van Gogh would be moved by this. It's one bird torso, but it feels like a whole constellation of energies; and, as always, your play between lighter and darker hues is sensual and flowing. Hard to believe these are feathers, even though they look like them. Your background (sky) is apocalyptic, with those morphing purples and pinks and blues, and clouds that seem to be illumined by something way beyond the frame. And your composition has the eagle entering from the left and wholly dominating the frame; while you leave lots of space for that beginning-of-days sky. It's not that large in zoom, but it sure fills the screen. It's a beautiful sensual flowing vision of a grand bird; and your words on it, your poem, captures all the feelings that eagles conjure in us. This was a New Year greeting---you can see I'm right on time! (A little late, Mark? Noooooooooooooo...) But it sure starts out the year with a waterfall rush. Carol I'm due another long session in your gallery, and it will happen soon. But for now let me give you these two; they're real beauties. One (Bella) is more toned down, more realistic; this one is filled with mystical energies; but they both communicate your deep rich vision and heart. Great to see them next to each other, shows some of your scope and range. Beautiful work once more, Carol.
Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!! :)
