Description
When the red, red wagon goes bob, bob, bobbin' along, along.
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
My take on his/her expression: "why did they have to dress me up in this stupid outfit and bring me to this stupid Faire when I could have been home playing with my friends."
Well, you don't have to tire yourself walking, if that's any compensation.
Ciao, baby.

She looks so cute in that headgear, too bad she's pouting...the wagon might not be period-correct, but it certainly does the job with the recalcitrant youngster. Great capture! Reminds me of my much younger days, and my second Renaissance Faire visit, for which I dressed the young daughter of a friend up to the nines to serve as my waiting-lass. She was excited and very happy to serve, and loved the whole affair!
AMazing expression and fantastic capture !!!
excellent comment !!!
I saw the movie "radio flyer". this is cool shot
There is nothing more adorable than a kid in a red wagon, Harry.
(My fav's are working verrrry slowly all of a sudden like waiting forever for them to register, and then forever to get back to the gallery...I may have to leave them for a day or two, and see what's going wrong. I had slow-ups, too, when getting to this gallery. I think my browser's not being very friendly with RR today...) Lovely capture, Harry, it gets the big happy red wagon, and a child inside who, as you say, would rather be home with her friends than in this crazy faire. It's so nice to see all she's wearing---she really does have on wonderful garb. (Not sure if it's renaissance, but it doesn't matter; It's awfully festive.) And the red stripes blend perfectly with the stripes on that cart behind her. I don't know if that was intended by whoever dressed her, but photographically it's a fine piece of harmony. And with all that flourish, she's pretty irritated---which is what good street photography is all about---ie, the collision of different moods in one moment. You closed in on her, leaving most of the faire behind, so we could see her suffering face. A delightful capture---though not so delightful for her. But delightful as the mix of emotions in a random person in a big sprawling faire...
Kids love to run, not be dragged around in those things.. Super outfit though, good candid! Rob
