Description
A mother/friend/relative, towing her young'ns, reacts to remarks from the crowd assembled on the curb waiting for the festivities to begin, captured 10/18/14.
Being a preHalloween event, one could wear anything they wanted at the parade.

Happy smiles and anticipatory excitement on the faces of these folks, Harry. I'll bet you were in your element! Wonderful candid shot!
Nic e people and fantastic scene... Outstanding capture my friend !!!
sweet abd funny (apparently) !!!
look like all is happy
Looks as if everyone was enjoying the parade, Harry.
they seem to be having a fun time, nice capture
(now the "rating" button isn't moving! My browser's having a bad RR day...) (it's a "5"---so you know...) Delightful street capture, and I like all the space between the front people, it's leisurely spacing esp with all the space behind them---the whole street is empty, while the sidewalk and behind are jammed. Love that juxtaposition. And the actual expressions of the front people is delightful---the woman has a great smile; and the two kids in the basket? cart? look a little old to be carted around, and are lost in something out of frame. And the walking girl is taken by, I assume, the same distraction as the woman. Delightful street shooting, Harry, the rhythms, complexities and little human revelations of the street are all here. And I love the huge space between them and the crowd back there. Only a parade-to-come would render such open space on a road like this. Fine street capture. And very happy too.
Glad to see they are all getting ready for the fun but can't the kids walk or something.. NO wonder they get 'big'.. Colours, lovely! Rob
