Description
Captured 11/3/14, early morning, at the entrance to my kitchen.
Had just returned home after my morning walk, and found the rapidly diminishing light from the front window just perfect for this image. These are newer and fancier shoes than the ones previously shown in #1. This time I placed them on the carpet where there was more light. Had to work fast; there was little time for perfect alignment of the shoes.
Arrivederci, baby.

Worked well to give interesting image
Great capture my friend !
real cool. I see your feet have a good doctor in them to make your feet comfort
Still life with glorious sunshine !!!
Nice work on another very cool capture, Harry.
Another well done shot, Harry; this time those shadows look like two aliens with skinny arms who are having a conversation about something that requires lots of hand/arm movement. You have a really good sensitivity when it comes to shadows!
Great comment by Denise---though no surprise, considering the consistent quality and engagement of everything she writes here. I love the two aliens with skinny arms comment. Your light here is severe, and it makes a luminous electrical feeling. The washed-out whites of the shoe-rims are in fine contrast to the deep shadows. And the mass of the shoes are in fine contrast to the spindly lines. And man, you caught the light pouring over the carpet as if you'd hired 20 guys from Hollywood: to make the light for you! It pours over things perfectly---good capture of the perfect light. And the carpet's the right texture for the background. Terrific shot! Now I'll comment on the next in the series.
Looks like bugs with the shadows
