Description
The American Kestrel nests in cavities, such as hollows in trees. It is the male that searches for possible nest sites, then shows them to the female, who makes the final choice. I thought this made a nice nesting scene, but since I wanted to make a fall picture, the season is wrong for this to be occurring. Still I thought it made a pretty picture.
