Description
The White-rumped Pygmy-Falcon, as the name suggests, is one of the smallest Falcons on the planet. It is found in South-east Asia and lives primarily on lizards, which are often captured on tree trunks and foliage.
The species is sexually dimorphic; the females are much larger and have a chestnut colored crown and back.
It is a near-threatened species due to its habitat being deforested for farming and urbanization.
