A beautiful photo and a very elegant decoration.
Lovely photo.
interesting contrasts in colors and textures
A beautiful door, and wonderful postwork to bring out the warmth of the wood. The carving is lovely!
Around 1900 I should think..lovely art nouveau. Beautifully caught. Fantastic decoration
How lovely! The light on the door is even more gorgeous than the carving! :)
A magical capture, with simple boldness. The bust above (and all the flora around her and in her hair) is frosting to the door's cake: An elaborate headdress for that door. It's almost like 2 pictures---the stark white-grays of the stone, and the deep rich reds and browns of the upper doors. (It has tinges of purples too.) A wonderful contrast, separated by deep shadow. Fine seeing and presentation, Claude.
So beautiful and a must zoom!
