Superb piece!
I love these covers - and your use of Poser to create them is inspiring. I only wish more publishers would stop using Photoshoped stock and get a little more creative.
This is both nostalgic and fresh -- very nice job! It instantly looks like one of those cool book covers from the 1960s - 1970s, with the painted, isolated elements floating in white. There were series of paperbacks starring James Bond and a set of Agatha Christie novels that I clearly recall using this basic design to great effect. And You've captured the spirit of those old covers, but through use of type and just plain-old skill, managed to make it fresh and energetic. I love the strong composition that anchors the figures around the house and then radiates outward. I also love the very subtle hints of green that you reference in the other figures. The dresses and jackets all have hints of green, as do the men's jackets. And the green windows are perfect. I'm also in love with the shade of gold you chose! It's a perfect counterpoint to the green. And you also did interior illustrations? AWESOME! I will definitely pick this up. I've already got two of the Green Lama books you did covers for, and have enjoyed them. Can't wait to see what's next.
