Description
Another shot from July.
This is what I wrote under the first if these images "I'm not sure what the flies are doing. Are they helpers or opportunist hangers -on?
The flower is Helianthus 'Lemon Queen'. She was several days waiting and remained white, but once she change her disguise to yellow success quickly followed!"
I haven't really taken so many pictures recently. My students are back from holiday and stuff is catching up.

Superb capture Andrea but I'm not sure I like what's going on here! Canabalistic???
Wow that is some pic.
This is an amazing shot, these spiders certainly deserve their prey for the time and adaption of colours they undertake. Great observation and capture.
Fantastic shot Andrea :)
Again,beautiful close up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome shot, well done Andrea.
Outstanding.
Very nice capture Andrea.
Nature is cruel, we need bees more than we need spiders, but the balance is managed well, it's when we get involved it goes tits up. I see the flies are ready to pounce on the unfortunate victim. Must be politicians.
Flies are scavengers so perhaps they are waiting for the leftovers. A very dramatic image that grabs the eyes and won't let go.
Wonderful!! I got some shots a few days ago of a spider dragging a huge moth. Amazing what these spiders can do!
good appetite :-) stunning macro and find!

Having a mixed wardrobe to call on is a real bonus for her! STUNNER!
