Mark, this is another splendid capture that is worthy of being an ad for a major advertiser. This one is obviously about their encounter, and all that goes through their minds as they pass. For myself the atmosphere is what really caught my eye as it is almost surreal.

I really like the mood of this image, very artsy. This reminds me of how many other souls we pass on our path through this life, never knowing who they are, all of us going in our own directions, and yet in that moment in space and time we connect for a brief encounter. There is something very comforting in seeing other humans doing their thing, especially if their 'thing' is also something we like to do.

Mark - I just sent you a sitemail about the "guy" picture. As for this one, that sweeping curve gives me the impression of a huge turntable on which they're running in opposite directions, sort of like hamsters on a horizontal wheel. And I really like the graphic feel of that half circle in the lower left - looks like ink strokes in an almost comic book style. A bold & intriguing image...

My immediate thought on seeing this one was the "alien" in "Contact"--the representation of Jodie Foster's father whom she saw when she journeyed in the spacecraft. It has that partially-present quality, as though intruding from another dimension...which I love! Wonderful work!

I love the arc of the walkway, the shadows, the way the light makes one figure dark and one pale, the composition, the mood ... it's marvelous! Given the shadow of the pale runner, I realize you created the contrast, and it's just terrific. A most excellent image!

Into and out of the low hanging sun trot the intrepid pair, as they negotiate the purple surface (sand?) in their ceaseless daily effort to maintain top conditioning. I love how the sun reflects off of the dark surface texture, plus the quasi silhouetted ambience of the whole scene, Mark. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the faint snippet of water texture at the extreme upper left.

Wow, there are so many things about this shot I love. The way the man on the left is so graphically defined, the blur of the man on the left; I could go on and on. Just wonderful!!!

OOooooooooohhhhhh. This is marvelous. Okay...with my mind going off in the places it commonly goes off to, I have to say that this image reminded me more of something otherworldly than local. I think it's because of the joggers on a path, with tire ruts on one side: those traffic ruts look as if they're a natural part of the scene and not something placed there by a vehicle going thataway: it's like they're a part of a shaped surface: something futuristic and oh-so-convenient for crew members taking an off-duty jog. And the slight blur from lake reflected light, definitely has that vibe of "photon bleed" which means that something pretty bright is happening somewhere. All-in-all, this is brilliant! I love the sense of motion and the curvy feel this has. There's a lot to see and there's a lot more that's implied
