Mark, this most certainly is a superb capture once again. You have a real gift for being in just the right place at the right time when these photographic moments appear, and more than that you seem to have a feel for the best time to capture them. This is one of those photos that has it all, as who could ask for more that this beautiful view of the beach that is framed so well by the city behind it. One can almost feel the determination of the jogger as she pushes herself harder and harder, taking in the solitude surrounding her. This would be the perfect photo for an ad campaign for jogging.
Great capture of her in mid-air. I'm sure she is in her own world, with the endorphins pumping, and the blue hue accentuates her state.

My first impression was that she was running along the damp sand, and that those post holes (or whatever they are) were footprints from a former jogger. With a quick second look it becomes obvious that she's running on a hard surface, but still ... I like the line of "footprints" juxtaposed against her "in-flight" position with no footprints of her own. It heightens the sense that she's hanging in mid air ... the ultimate in media res. Funny how a first impression can have such an effect, even after realization sets in. A superb image, with beautiful softening and those lovely blueprint blues. Love it!

What Tara said; you managed to time this so she appears mid-air effortlessly, as though she's jogging along six inches above the pavement. Beautifully done!
Marvelous capture and postwork rendering of the environs and the female athlete, as she effortlessly strides, seemingly floating in air, sans shadow, starkly contrasted against the purple and mauve of the sand and water, Mark.
What as awesome foto; you caught her in such a great spot. My sister is a runner and I've seen this before, but never caught it on camera. Everything about this just ROCKS!!!
