Description
Taken about a half hour ago. One of the helicopters fighting the fire a few miles from our house. We're very grateful to all the brave firefighters who risk their lives to keep us safe. In a small rural community like ours, we know several of them personally & hope they stay safe themselves...

Excellent Picture,
Hoping that you both stay safe, Claude. That's a very beautiful and very scary photo. Thanks for sharing.
That's a scary sight! I hope they get it under control and that you and Arlene are out of harm's way and don't have to evacuate.
A most dramatic sight and a terrific photograph. Good luck.

WOW that sure would be an exciting job mate.
they sure do a fantastic job !
I had a high school friend who went on to become a Los Angeles firefighter...that is a tough job. I also hope all were safe here and that it's become a memory and not an ongoing problem.
Amazing shots. Very scary. Be safe.
