Description
We have a very elaborate & sophisticated method of organizing the garden clippers in our garage: find an empty spot, hammer a nail in & hang the clippers from it...
Please zoom.

Some of those garden clippers appear to be sheet metal shears and one looks like a bolt cutter. I have two of those garden clippers in my own collection. The red handled ones with the spring I like the best. You have a beautiful shot of your gardening allies.
Very moody shot. The wood give it a sense of old things...
I really love this!
having dealt with some of the more tenacious weeds, I can see the need for the tin snips and metal shears Great shot
Nippers and loppers and scissors galore; at least you can find them with your system. Ours are scattered all over the place! Wonderful capture!
We have short ones and long ones with telescoping handles. Two each, I believe. I never would have thought to photograph the shed wall, but then our shed wall doesn't get such gorgeous light. This is marvelous!
cool !
Great lighting - maybe in 100 years someone will take the same picture when they are all rusted and wonder about the old days!
I've been gone a long time, and it's never easy to catch up, because there's so much to comment on and I'm so slow at writing comments. So I'm forced to do representative samples, esp when I'm only back for a week or so. I'll do this in more than one session. But ok, it's time to start, so here goes... Your method of putting these things "away" may be random, but the picture is intimate, warm and mysterious. It's cloaked in a patina of old sheds, beautiful browns and soft edges, a beautiful grain (grain can be too much or too little in some hands, but this is perfect for the image), beautiful light on the tools, and a life and dignity in each clipper to make them feel like living entities. A beautiful warm family-heirloom type of shot, looking like something to be passed down through generations lest they forget the beauty of simplicity and naturalness. Beautiful work, Claude. Splendid spirit throughout.
Cool set-up, we have a pair of long handle 'loppers' like yours and my hand clippers have replaceable 3 inch razor blades on one side and a hard replaceable plastic anvil on the other. Not a lot of free space like you have!
