Description
Captured 6/26/12, in beautiful Rynerson Park in beautiful Lakewood, California.
Noticed that Debbie had posted similar photos recently in her gallery, which reminded me of my forgotten cache.
For some inexplicable reason, I took a total of 332 power tower/line photos during May and June of 2012, virtually all of them in Lakewood and around the Long Beach Walmart parking lot.

Very nice work on this cool dedi, Harry. These remind me of the towers around Overland Park
I like how the lines recede into the distance; a brilliant compo, and also brilliant blue sky! Great shot, Harry!
we do not seem to care about the destruction of the landscape in the area where you took this beautiful shot!
Great picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of those 'you can see for miles and miles and.....' shots isn't it? Green....look! lol Rob
A deep perspective shot, with (ala denise) a brilliant blue sky---nice saturated blues. And a band of lighter blue along the horizon: That gives the pic illumination. And you've spaced yourself just right so the nearest tower seems way, way off---we have lots of open grass before we hit a tower. You've given it sweep. It's funny: LA is surrounded by mountains, but in some of your shots, LA looks like it could be in Chicago---because of the many flat vistas you get in your shots. This is very Midwestern, to my eyes. And the wires just fan out for us, into space. Beautiful work in your tower series. I haven't done one of these in a while, so I wanted to do one or two today. This is fine work, Harry.
