Description

I hope I don't offend those tender trans-Atlantic sensibilities with all my images of insect reproduction, but there is a lot of it going on at present! The purpose of life is to become an ancestor, and the natural world devotes much time and effort to achieving this aim.

Its not about being offended. Its about how you discover them in the act. Do you get email alerts? "!! a.m., Bob and Carol will be doing it on the nasturtium next to the green house." And then there is the question of how someone who keeps telling us she has such bad eyesight gets such stunning clarity in her close ups. BTW - Stunning clarity in a superb close up.

You have this knack to catch just about any insect "in the act" by now you should have enough of these photos to publish an interesting book - If you were to do that, I know that I would buy a copy or two

Have they no shame? lol. Very cool catch. Even though very common, these are one of my fave flies. Something about their dark bodies and those red eyes I like.Not to mention that cool pattern they have going on. Nice job!
