Description
I have numerous shots of hummingbirds in "classic" positions that clearly show their head and eyes.
But this is one of my favorite hummer shots for so many reasons - the body position, the hidden face, the beak peeking through the wings, that erect little tail, those fluffy white feathers, the tucked feet.
Feather detail better in zoom. Thank you so much for your recent views and comments.

I agree Tex, it is great to get away from the norm, and have some interesting POV's. Very nice details in the zoom too.

You have an exceptional talent for catching these wee beauties in mid flight, further enhanced by the stellar clarity, color, contrast and lighting inherent in the captures, Maria.
