Description
Bristol Beaufighters returning home after a maritime patrol. The Beaufighter is one of my favorite planes, scrappy and tough looking, like a bulldog.
Bristol Beaufighter and crew: Very nice models generously shared for free on sharecg by Neiwil.
Control tower: free at Ontarget3d by John Austin (Becco_UK)
Quonset huts: Fordlandia Nissan Hut by Garry free at sketchup warehouse re-textured.
Bicycle: One of many incredible models by Papus3d, free at sharecg and renderosity.
Airfield runway van: Another great model shared by Tryphon. Thank you Luis for giving me the opportunity to try these out in my work!

Great image.
Damn!!!! that's good!....once again the letterbox format gives a grand sweep across the airfield, brilliant atmosphere...just brilliant all around. Of course it wouldn't have worked half as well without that brilliant model, I mean the pushbike, it's those little details that make it :-) Thanks for giving this a 'spin', a successful mission judging by the absent 'fish', and a truly successful depiction of events......thanks for the mention, always appreciated :-)
Well done!
Cool!!!
excellent image great details
Well done! Excellent scene creation.
Nice work, as usual
Nice horizontal Bill..really like the slight tilt of the plane as its coming in.

Marvelous creation !
Great render!
And...... Duxford has one about ready to fly! Drool now! This is great work, full of detail and atmosphere, another top render! Glad you liked the Peashooter.. Rob
A great scene. Top class. I love the Beaufighter. I see it's dropped its torpedo during the mission.
