Description
Captured 4/3/14, looking west in the late afternoon, from the parking lot of my medical building, located off of Katella Avenue in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
A weather front of instability showers, short lived, but at least we got some desperately needed rain out of it.
Actually, this is a reprise of Clouds & blue sky #9, except this one shows it at more of a distance, with more or the blue sky showing at the left.
A ZOOM would be most propitious.
Avtio.

No way. The roofs give it depth and drama.
Fantastic sky and great capture!
Epic skies once more! You have so many to take snaps of mate.. Good shot! Rob
Yes---ala Rob---you have wonderful epic skies! It's just insane that they rarely do more than 'sit' there. (They don't bring RAIN.) But that's a major sweeping sky. The right looks like the Midwest under a thunderstorm or tornado. But then it breaks, and bam: You have those beautiful billowy formations, and all that luminous blue. And the buildings of course ground the shot; and the tilt of the buildings on the right make it seem like they're being blown that way by a storm! Very Midwestern looking, very dramatic. Another powerful shot in this series. And I can definitely see number 9's presence here. Same kinds of formations. (This must've been one of those days ebots weren't working: Because Denise isn't here! That's a shock! I always read her comments, and today---no Denise! We should put flags at half mast...)
