Description
We stopped somewhere along National Highway 6 to look at and possibly sample some of the Cambodian delicacies. One of the things on the menu where tarantulas. Before I sampled one, I was talked into letting one crawl on my arm. A weird feeling, and the picture that came to mind was that of 007 waking up with one of these things crawling on his chest in one of the James Bond movies.
Anyway, the tarantula was by far the least disgusting delicacy on the menu, it looked cooked (or fried) just like a life one, without the fuzz on its body and tasted and had the textured of really crispy chicken.

A fine photo of you and the tarantula.They are quite gentle as they tippy-toe around.I have handled them,but never had them to eat.

Yikes!.. rather you than me... but a great shot... I hear if they bite it's rather like a bee sting although they rarely do and you can normally tell when they are angry or defensive and they rise up on their back legs in attack mode with fangs on full display. Well done.
