I usually think of stone as hard and cold. You've taken these old walls and turned them into something much different. They are warm and glowing. This isn't Spanish Mission Revival but better than that, the real thing dating back to the 18th century. And to top it all off, superb POV and lighting.

I have been here. This is a wonderful old place.. As usual your eye for light and pattern are at work Love this one.

Your work with light and shade has made this very mysterious, like a series of deep eyes, peering into the world---and holding, behind them, deep mysteries: Your treatment speaks of all kinds of mysteries behind the walls. Your deep blue sky intensifies that too---daylight, but filled with night mysteries. And the reds of the pots and on the brick arches behind the front facade, are wonderful accents against all that beige and brown. The upper left wall is all foreboding---you really know how to use dark, and express with it: It intensifies the mystery of this place. Bill pointed out that this wasn't "revival" style, but rather the real thing: Well, it feels like it in this shot. And your bleached wall-hues make it almost foreboding to us, while still being very warm and inviting. A terrific job with an old facade: You did that part of the country real service, Tara: Your pieces radiate with the old spirits and passed souls that still linger in every inch of that part of the land. You make it feel like the South is a land of huge mysteries and dances among the invisible. It's been a great journey to see all of these.
