He was in the middle of the 113Rd and moved very slowly, (north of the Lake Winnipesaukee, NH).

my recent trip to Grand Canyon had 4-5 crossing the highway at their own slow pace. too bad my cameras was in the back. good you had yours ready

How fortunate to have caught him. You can see how easy it would be to miss them in the woods with the way the natural coloring blends with the surrounding. :)
