There's nothing like a morning out on the river! You can see from the way Bill's jacket is billowing that it was pretty windy. It was comfortably warm, though ... just right for cruising the swamps. That sure was a fun day! :)

maybe it kept the mosquitoes at bay. when I worked 80 miles west of 'Orleans at Nichols State they were a real problem. the carpenters asked me to go fishing in the swamps, and I said thanks but no way Jose

A superb study in intensity. Reminds me of the time four of us, while on launch operations, took a swamp boat ride on the Saint Johns River in Florida. It came up on a water bird and frightened it. Taking off the bird evacuated, spraying my boss with its digested meal. Ah, good times.

"Rollin' On The River" Credence clear water revival. Loved that band. "Bad moon rising" was a karaoke favourite of mine back in the day. I used to love to sing that song. Great shot of our old friend being inflated by the breeze.
Definitey looks like Bill was getting great lighting... seems like a perfect day for a boat cruise, so be it on a swamp, hehe I really don't like it when it's too sunny out there! Wonderful side capture!
