Great to see you back at what you do so well. One thing that bothers me, that bird flying above the stream makes a large dark spot which is distracting; no other criticisms.

Fantastic image wonderful lighting the water is stunning , i would tend to agree though the flying bird is a bit distracting , perhaps because it stands out too much against the white cloud still a fabulous image though.
Thanks :) The flying bird was a last minute decision to add, and it performs the task of connecting the background with the foreground. To that extend it works for me. "bernoullilemniscate" almost never gives positive feedback without hesitations, that's that person's style. Some are like that :)
I like this landscape from your imagination. Especially the old trees in the background. From the color palette the fresh green from the birches corresponds well to the color of the water surface. Very harmonic choise.
Very photographic. Excellent work on the trees. I like the bird there, but I think that it needs a little aerial perspective added to it, to lighten it a little and make it stand out less. Just my opinion. - Bob

But through it all, your talent for colour realism and the convincing, natural flow of your landscapes is the real reason these works continue to astound and please. Well done!
