Description
This is the cockpit of a Tiger Moth during starting procedure for a pleasure flight for the man in the front who is celebrating his 21st birthday. The pilot is a lady.
The pic was taken at Compton Abbas airfield just South of Shaftesbury in Dorset. I was there for a pleasure flight also.

I used to like that place, have not been for years.
I can imagine comic possibilities in the future of this pic?
At this point in "Raiders of the Lost Ark", a snake appeared in the cockpit. Sorry, that's just what it reminded me of :)
Fantastic capture !!!
Splendid composition and colors my friend
GREAT CAPTURE

I was thinking that the pilot is a lady. a great shot Jeff.I can imagine the roar of the engine as it fires to life
We should have set you up with a helmet-cam for your flight. Neat shot Jeff.
Flying old-style, how cool! Wonderful shot!
Very good picture.
Perfect focus Jeff. 29mm? You must have been really close.......lucky devil!
Looks like a lot of fun... ;-)
Rather you than me mate. Nine years in the RAF as a mule driver, I didn't mind towing planes about, but going up pffft. I'd rather have both feet on the ground mate :)
Fantastic pic Jeff
How interesting to see this, Jeff. I hope your flight was excellent :).
Happy 21st Birthday.... Aloha
A very cool capture my friend and I hope that you enjoyed your flight!
Yep, I AM very envious of this guy.. They do these flights near me as well, in a Moth but I don't drive so that's that! Great shot Jeff very well caught! Rob
interesting and super detailed capture! ;o)
When I was young (in the 50's) a cousin had one like that.
