I thought of you when I saw this bench by the lake, Denise. I hope you find your perfect house, and that you're soon kicking back and relaxing on a bench much like this one, search over, boxes unpacked, and project completed.

This is just a perfect place. Make me feel peaceful just looking at it. The light is wonderful. I have had my 70D for a few weeks. I love it but am still quite intimadated by it !

That does look like a nice place to sit. I would have to drag it back a little from the edge of the lake. I've seen too many of those movies where the hapless victim gets too close to the edge and a giant man-eating alligator eats them. Yep, it's true.
Oh, yes, I would so love to sit there as the sun sets and watch the fireflies come awake; no mosquitoes, of course, in my dream...what a beautiful bench in a perfect location, and thanks for the well-wishes. The search continues.

A beautiful place and lovely shot....but dang it that wolfenshire ...now I am searching for alligators in there. :)
Love the deep, rich, intense colors & shadows...
Deeply moody and relaxing, soft in feel and with deep relaxing light. The bench is facing into the water, so it invites us back there---a visual invitation to look back. And beautiful reflections (with rippled and clear water), and beautiful reds up front. It's a rich tapestry, with the heaviest light upfront, as if to say "the light's on, come in..." Beautiful work for Denise---and I too hope she finds the place she wants. Moving with your parents is hard...this is a sweet wish for her.
So colorful and relaxing - I can just imagine sitting on that bench, enjoying the peacefulness. A lovely shot, Tara!
