Zoom reveals all kinds of subtleties. This is really an insightful study, tara. The big headlight faces "us," but the rest of the car is angled to our left: So it's really an illusory thing: You think the grill is facing us too---because of that light---but it isn't! It's got all kinds of visual "play" in it. But also, that front fender feels like ceramic: I love the lines and scratches you brought out (in your postwork): It feels like glazed ceramic. And the rest is in our faces, but recessed---as in "private" or "quiet": like it's crammed into a special chamber that only we get to see. Big bold chrome-y silvers and lots of recessive blues. A beautiful abstraction too. Really fine work in everything, here, all held together by a dominating grill. Wonderful shot, Tara.

Wow, talk about synchronicity - Arlene & I took a walk in Jacksonville yesterday & I took a photo of this very car! My shot (of the whole car) was not nearly as interesting as this & I doubt that I'll post it. With your special talent for zeroing in on the essentials, you've turned this into an elegant mechanical abstract of metal & glass, dark & light, reflection & shadow. Outstanding composition...

Lines, lines, love the lines. Verticals, diagonals, horizontals (well a few), and circles make for wonderful eye-candy for an auto enthusiast like me. And this car has patina in the form of crazed paint on the left front fender. You selected a slice of the whole thing but what a slice it is:-) Super.
